Tonight, January 20, 2019, there will be a lunar eclipse that is visible throughout North America.
The times for the various phases of the eclipse for North American time zones are shown in the table below. In western North America, up to and including Mountain Standard Time, the entire eclipse is on January 20. From Central Time to Atlantic Time, the eclipse begins on January 20 and ends on January 21. In Newfoundland, the eclipse begins just after midnight on January 21.
